(KZN.RU
September 3). The “Good Week” starts with lessons of good in schools on
September 5 in Kazan. Representatives of volunteer movements, renowned
athletes, well-known media personalities and a number of Kazan businessmen
supported the initiative charities and Kazan City Hall. Damir Fattakhov, the
first deputy head of the Kazan Executive Committee, said this today at the
staff meeting.
Artem
Kosov, the participant of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Anastasia and
Sergey Sherstnev, anchormen of the “Efir’ channel, are among those who will
communicate with students. Alexandra Babkina, our compatriot, the head of the
All-Russian project “Dobro.Mail.ru”, will conduct a lesson of good in the
school №39.
“Children
are our main helpers, all of them very quickly absorb”, said Ilsur Metshin, the
Mayor of Kazan. He reminded that the charity school fairs are regularly held in
the city, and on September 1 Kazan first graders were presented “Diaries of
good deeds”, where they can write their success and therefore strive to be
better.
The
International Charity Day is celebrated in Kazan this year for the first time
on a large scale by the proposal of the heads of charitable funds of the city.
It was decided not to limit the festivities in one day and spend the whole
“Good Week”, giving it the official start on 5 September. Dozens of events will
be held daily throughout the city as part of the “Good Week”. According to D.
Fattakhov, the program “Good Week” program is specially formed so that each day
will present a specific format of charitable activities to residents.
Restaurant
network “Bulatov Group”, “Tatinter restaurant” and “Sofra-kebab”, restaurant
complex “Tatar Manor” and the medical complex “Korl” expressed a desire to join
the marathon of good and transfer part of the revenue to charity.
Logo of the
“Good Week” is also appeared free thanks to the company “Lorien”. Social
advertising “Good Kazan” has appeared on the streets’ billboards of the city.
According
to the Mayor, “Good Week” is just the beginning for Kazan. “It is necessary to
step into the river before you will know the depth of it. We are still on the
river bank, but would like to streams of kindness, attention, responsiveness
flows into a sea. Of course, it is a long way, but we must take the first step.
I really want us to do it together with the people”, said I. Metshin, adding
that the whole plan on the way to the main goal - the formation of good Kazan -
is planned in conjunction with the charitable organizations of the city.
The Mayor
marked that participation in charitable activities should be on a voluntary
basis, at the behest of the soul. “No obligation, in any yard, nor in any
school! Nothing should be done to display the check mark that you took part.
Man must mature, it must be a state of mind, his need, not “organized event”.
Moreover, we see a whole army of people who are willing to engage in this work,
we rely on them”, said I. Metshin.
