(KZN.RU, 23 August). The concept of architectural
solutions and the museum exhibition of admiralty shipyard were presented to Ilsur
Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, today. The museum exhibition is composed of two
parts, according to the concept, which is presented Olesya Baltusova, the assistant
of the President of the RT. A modern shipyard, including a lighthouse, with
historic ships, dock, diving and sailing school will be located on a sandy
headland, which area if 36 hectares. And a historical shipyard with the main
museum building, which reminds the Admiralty offices, will be placed where the Petrovskaya
shipyard was in the XVIII century.
Alexander Dembich, the head of the Department of urban
development and planning of rural populated areas of KSUAE, said that several
options for placement of the museum composition were considered, in particular,
near the Petrov Park. According to Olesya Baltusova, this issue has caused much
discussion. The working group members - historians, architects, builders, town
planners, government officials, and museum staff – participated in the
discussion that has been going on for a long time.
The Petrovskaya Shipyard, which occupied a vast
territory, was located on the site of the meeting 300 years ago, where the old
channel of Kazanka makes a turn. The Mayor of Kazan asked whether there is
proof of this historical fact. A. Dembich explained that shipyard location was
confirmed after examining of the historical plans from different years and
docking with the geometry of the river Kazanka channel.
One of the museum halls could accommodate at recreated
galley "Tver". Alexander Dembich reminded Catherine II arrived in
Kazan in this galley and left it to the city as a gift. Unfortunately, the
galley was burned in the 50s of the last century.
"This option is the most logical concept, it
provides an opportunity to begin the landscaping of the park “Staroe ruslo”,
said Olesya Baltusova.
She explained that Kazan has a chance to get into the
federal targeted investment program in 2017. To do this, construction documents
need to be created until the new year, which will include two objects:
admiralty office and galley "Tver", and the state examination to be
passed.
The Mayor of Kazan supported the concept. Further it
will be presented to Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan.
During the workshop, Damir Fattakhov, the first deputy
head of Kazan Executive Committee, spoke about the ecological rehabilitation of
the pond and surrounding areas. "22.5 million rubles from the federal
government and 15.5 million rubles of our budget were allocated this year for
environmental remediation. Works commenced. The issue will take 2-3 years,
depends on funding”, informed Damir Fattakhov.
The meeting was attended by Denis Kalinkin, the head
of the Kazan Executive Committee, Rustam Nigmatullin, the first deputy head of
the municipal formation of Kazan, Sergei Mironov, the head of Kirovskiy and Moskovskiy
districts administration, Gulchachak Nazipova, the general director of the
National Museum of Tatarstan, and others.
