The VIII International Exhibition “ATE-2016” is held in Kazan

(KZN.RU, August 10). The Eighth International Specialized Exhibition “Aerospace technologies, modern materials and equipment” has opened today in Kazan on the site of EC “Kazan fair”. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan, and Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, attended the opening ceremony.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted in his welcoming speech that Tatarstan is an aircraft republic, and therefore it is important to have such a site like this to invite partners, discuss topical issues, share experiences. Regions, such as Tatarstan, should contribute to the development of the aviation industry, said Rustam Minnikhanov.

Among the major tasks of the project he called the resumption of production “TU-160”, the further development of the helicopter, as well as the development of other plants, including KMBPA that provide industry equipment and innovative technologies.

Sergey Emelyanov, the director of the aviation industry of the Department of Industry and Trade of Russia conveyed greetings from Denis Manturov, the minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

“Today, the Republic of Tatarstan is the dynamically developing region of Russia. Questions of the real sector of the economy support systematically solved here, including the aircraft industry, which is one of the priorities of the industry in Russia”, said Sergei Emelyanov and wished the participants of the exhibition to actively expand their ties.

Mikhail Pogosyan, the rector of the Moscow Aviation Institute, said that the exhibition is a good opportunity to correct problems and explore new technologies.

Dignitaries have launched a show by clicking on the symbolic lever. Examination of exhibition stands, acquaintance with the presented technologies and equipment was held further.

Participants of the opening ceremony went to a meeting of the Coordination Council enterprises of mechanical engineering of the RT after inspection was complete, reports the press service of the Tatarstan President.
