Kazan clinic №21 will be a high-tech medical center

(Kazan City KZN.RU, June 7, Kseniya Shvetsova). In Privolzhsky district of Kazan building at st.R.Zorge, 103 is under construction, in which polyclinic №21 will move in the future. Completing of construction is planned at the beginning of December this year. Unique conditions for patients will be created in the new building of clinic - not only high-tech medical care will be provided in the medical facility, but also department of rehabilitation and recovery of patients, a swimming pool, an outpatient surgery center and much more will be opened. Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and Tatarstan Minister of Health Adel Vafin checked how work is going on today.

Polyclinic №21 serves the residents of the neighborhood Gorki-2 and residential areas Salmachi, Vishnevka, Eastern, Plodopitomnik, Altan. It is expected that by 2018 the number of population served will increase to 83 thousand people. By the way, despite the fact that Privolzhsky district is one of the largest and most actively built up areas of the city, over the past 10 years there not a single hospital has not been built. "Building under construction is located near our clinic; it is idle empty for many years. Therefore, we have proposed to place here all the functional departments of our medical institution", - the chief doctor of polyclinic №21 Dilara Altunbaeva said. Moving to a neighboring building under construction will allow to improve the quality of medical care to the population in several times - will allow the available space to put all the necessary units of the clinic, expand the range of medical services and to create conditions for further development of the clinic.

According A.Vafin, old building of the clinic (street Zorge, 121) was designed for a population of only 20 thousand people, so there was a serious problem with the workload of doctors. After the completion of building the issue will be resolved. "There narrow specialists will work, we plan to open an outpatient surgery center. This is very important because there are many trauma patients in any medical institution, there is the constant need for surgical intervention. We make 30 thousand operations only on the locomotor system each year. The new conditions will allow operating patients here. We are grateful to the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov for the fact that he supported this project, and now there a large-scale work is already conducted", - A.Vafin said.

As chief doctor D.Altunbaeva noted, one of the most serious problems for the residents of Privolzhsky district is the absence of woman department in the current clinic. "Our women - and there are more than 36 thousand people - attend two antenatal clinics in the streets Daurskaya and Mavlyutov. It is very inconvenient for patients,"- D.Altunbaeva said. According to her, health facilities are too far away, and, among other things, are greatly overloaded - one gynecologist in consultation serves 4059 women with the specification of 2200. In the new clinic building it is planned to open an office of women's consultation, which, in turn, will relieve the load of gynecologists from clinics №№ 13 and 6.

Mayor of Kazan said that the opening of the new women's clinic in a health facility of Privolzhsky district is another step on the path to health development, and recalled that a few years ago this issue was one of the most problematic for the city. "When we started to work, women's clinics were in poor condition. We put a lot of effort to bring these medical facilities in order. It's great that we can make another gift to our women, because the conditions that we create is a big step forward", - I. Metshin said.

A.Vafin presented the project of the future building of the clinic to the Mayor and spoke about the main offices that will be opened here. So, in a renewed health center building it is planned to organize a consultative and diagnostic center for the residents of Privolzhsky district and a part of Sovietsky district. This will allow patients to undergo diagnostic testing, counseling, treatment in the same building and in their neighborhood. "The number of pathologies of the cardiovascular, excretory systems grows, patients should be sent to further examination to care for them right. Here we will be able to provide it through narrow specialists, instrumental methods", - A.Vafin said and added that the development of the project take into account modern standards of logistics, the conditions of stay of patients, technological processes and also take into account the development of the program "Available environment".

In addition, it is scheduled to open rehabilitation and recovery branch in the clinic. There the best conditions will be created for the patients, even a swimming pool will be as part of the rehabilitation center. "It is necessary to provide such services to the public, including swimming pool, at the level of primary health care without hospital. And then at the extent of high-tech medical care that we provide, patients need effective rehabilitation,"- minister of Health said.

The opening of the new building of the clinic for primary health care at such a high level is a striking confirmation of the fact that health care in the capital of Tatarstan is not standing still, Mayor said. "The fact that today we can present a primary health care facility of this level is a huge breakthrough for us. Earlier we could not even dream of such projects. There is no doubt that the contractors will cope with their work, and together we will make a perfect gift to Kazan residents"- I. Metshin expressed confidence.
