I. Metshin took part in the ceremony of laying flowers to the monument to Alexander Pushkin
(Kazan City KZN.RU, June 6). In Kazan near the monument to Alexander Pushkin next to the M.Dzhalil Theatre of Opera and Ballet poetic meeting, timed to the Day of the Russian language and the 217th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian poet, was held.
The ceremony of laying flowers to the monument was attended by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, First Deputy of the Executive Committee Damir Fattakhov and others.
After the meeting and laying flowers festive program will be continued with a concert, dedicated to the International Day of the Russian language.
