Half of the budget for road repair is aimed at the repair of yards in Kazan

(Kazan City KZN.RU, April 27, Ekaterina Andreeva). In Kazan in 2016 500 million rubles will be spent for the repair of yards and driveways. This is half of the amount allocated by the budget of the republic for the repair of the roads of the capital. This was announced today during the program "Theme" on TV "Ether" by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.

As the presenter of program Alexey Kuleshov said, repair of roads is one of the "hottest" issues, as evidenced by the large number of appeals of citizens. The Mayor recalled that over the past 5 years, in the period from 2011 to 2015, about 16 billion rubles were spent for the repair of roads, sidewalks and yards in Kazan. As a result, 41% of urban, 25% of village roads and about 40% of all yards territories that are need of repair were made.

Ilsur Metshin talked about how the budget of road repairs this year is allocated. Thus, 330 million rubles will be spent on repair of 44 city roads. "These funds are planned for main highways and roads that are "screaming" in the literal sense about the need of major repair", - I. Metshin said. 167 million rubles are allocated on repair of 51 roads in 24 villages. Of this 38 village road will appear for the first time at the street. There are also funds for patching.

The main part of expenditure - 500 million rubles - is provided for the repair and improvement of the yards. At these funds 234 yards and 22 driveways will be repaired. The list of works include asphalting sites for children's playgrounds, installation of small architectural forms, the creation of almost 3 thousand new parking spaces by expanding roads and making road pockets.

Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin also noted that with getting additional national budget revenues and the positive decision of the Government and the President of the Republic of Tatarstan list of Kazan roads to be repaired can be extended.
