(Kazan City KZN.RU, April 18 Zilya Gayfi). Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin handed the head of the Civil Protection Department of the Executive Committee Ferdinand Timurhanov insignia "For work and valor for the benefit of Kazan". The ceremony took place today at the Business Monday in the City Hall.
Ilsur Metshin congratulated Ferdinand Timurhanov with the 60th anniversary, noting his significant contribution to the maintenance of public safety and emergency response. "Today our colleague has the anniversary. Ferdinand Mazitovich is the real colonel, a man who is always on duty. Periodically he reports on the results of work in an important direction subordinated to him, which are always the best in the republic and the country", - the Mayor said.
Biography of Ferdinand Timurhanov is inextricably linked to the service of the Motherland and military affairs. He began his career in 1980 as an engineer at Kazan airport. From 1981 to 2010 Ferdinand Mazitovich served in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Timurhanov Ferdinand came to Executive Committee of Kazan in 2011 and led the post of chief of the Civil Protection Department, which today successfully coordinates the activities of urban services in the field of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations of natural and technogenic character.
