Ilsur Metshin called on residents and businesses to contribute to the city cleaning

The citywide cleanup, which will be held in Kazan on April 23 in the framework of monthly sanitation, will be attended by more than 50 thousand of Kazan residents and 2 thousand enterprises. Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin at today's Business Monday called all concerned residents to make it a truly mass action.

Deputy head of the Executive Committee, Chairman of the Committee of improvements Igor Kulyazhev told about readiness for the work day. According to him, a list of areas is prepared. "This year, as in the past two years, the emphasis in cleaning of the city will be placed on clean of coastal areas and urban forests. Among them are green area at Parin, Dubravnaya streets, coastal zone of Kaban and Kazanka at st. Gavrilov. Cleaning will also be organized in all the yard areas. Igor Kulyazhev reported that 600 pieces of equipment will be used, adding that the committee is waiting for applications for participation from the citizens and organizations All participants will be provided with the necessary equipment.

Industrial enterprises and public sector organizations, district administrations and students will take part in traditional cleanup. Structural units of the Executive Committee together with the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan will clean up land territory under the Millennium Bridge in the direction of Sovietsky district. A large-scale campaign to clean up the debris and tree planting is scheduled in the territory of the Admiralty pond in the Kirovsky district. It will be attended by the Ministry of Ecology and of RT and the enterprisesof the district.

Ilsur Metshin called on residents and businesses to join the cleaning of urban areas. "It is a good tradition that persists for many years. Cleanliness in the city is an indicator of our culture. In addition, it is an occasion to rally around a single idea. We get used to clean city, its livability. Everyone loves beautiful, well-groomed Kazan, fragrant with flowers. However, it is impossible to do it only with the forces of the enterprises of improvement, let us all unite and purify the city of garbage,"- Mayor of Kazan appealed to citizens thanked those who annually take part in the clean-up.
