I. Metshin praised the progress of repairs in the house at st. Dekabristov, 154

(Kazan City KZN.RU, April 6, Zilya Ghali). In Kazan work on the program of overhaul of the housing stock is in full swing. One of the houses, located at st. Dekabristov in the Moskovsky area, was visited today by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin. The Mayor praised the quality of the work and talked with residents of the house, where the roof and communication has been completely renovated and workers began to repair the facade and entrances.

Residential house №154 at st. Dekabristov, built in 1964, was included in the program of overhaul in 2016. However, the repair work was carried out here in the past at the expense of maintenance. So, in 2006, roofing of the house was partially renovated, in 2010 downspouts of central heating and cold water were replaced, and in 2013 the first and second entrances were renovated.

As part of the overhaul of the program this spring several types of work worth a total of above 17 million rubles are scheduled in the house. The list of works includes the replacement of the central heating, cold water supply, sewerage and electricity, repair of the basement, the roof (with insulation of attic floors), facade and entrances. To improve home energy efficiency capacity unit for weather control is planned to be installed.

If outside the house repair work is in full swing, the apartments have been already completed: new radiators were installed and all the pipes were replaced. Ilsur Metshin asked the eldest at home Tatiana Orlova, whether residents had any inconvenience during the repair.

Refurbished house transformed considerably, not only internally but also externally. The contractor proposed a creative solution for the decoration of the facade, which was unanimously supported at the meeting by the inhabitants of the house. "Every year we try to do something new, this year we came up with an unusual color scheme for this house. The facade will have great images of trees, the trunks will serve as downspouts and entrances will appear as inputs in the grotto,"- the director of "Progress" Andrei Zakamskiy said, adding that contractor decided to support the campaign "Blooming Kazan" with the unusual design and landscaping.

In general, to date, the repair of the house is made by 65%. According to the director of LLC "MK “Utilities of Moskovsky district of Kazan" Oleg Kalimov, the roof, plumbing, heating and sanitation, electricity were completely replaced. Work to streamline of low-voltage systems, repair of porches are on go, the workers begin to repair the facade. It is also planned to equip the surrounding area – bicycle parking, wooden benches and urns, planting shrubs are provided. All work will be completed in June.

Ilsur Metshin drew attention to the quality and timing of the operations. "The quality of work on the program of overhaul of the housing stock is growing every year. Most importantly - we are in constant dialogue with the residents, the residents are actively involved in decision-making. I wish that your battery was always warm, and the light was always in the apartments,"- the Mayor said to the residents, encouraging them to take care of the house and of the future green spaces.

The workshop was attended by the head of administration of the sky and Moskovsky districts Damir Fattakhov, chairman of the Housing and Utilities of Executive Committee Iskander Giniyatullin, director of the MUE "Technical supervision service for the implementation of municipal programs on the content of housing and communal services and land improvement" Asiya Gudz.
