(Kazan City KZN.RU, March 9). Resource Centre, based at public budgetary educational institution "Kazan Motor Transport Technical named after A.P.Obydennov", was visited by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. Head of Tatarstan was accompanied by Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Asgat Safarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan Engel Fattakhov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Director of the Kazan Motor Transport Technical School Rustem Galyavov and others. During the visit, Rustam Minnikhanov visited the classrooms, workshops and special laboratory where classes are conducted. RT President also got acquainted with the activities of the institution and implemented educational programs.
2042 people, including 1874 on the basis of the budget, are trained at the college now. The teaching staff of the institution employs 130 people. At present, on the basis of the motor technical 9 technical secondary vocational education programs are implemented, as well as 21 short-term programs.
In 2014 in the Republic of Tatarstan a network of resource training centers as modern training centers, where unique educational and methodological, human and logistical resources for personnel are concentrated, was began to establish.
Currently, work on the creation of resource centers on the basis of 19 professional educational organizations is underway, by 2020 it is planned to bring the total number of resource centers to 25, the press service of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan informs.
