6 candidates took part in the contest for the position of head of the Executive Committee of Kazan

(Kazan City KZN.RU, January 21, Ksenia Shvetsova). Today in accordance with the decision of the Kazan City Duma a contest for the position of head of the Executive Committee of the city of Kazan was held. 6 candidates took part in it. By the decision of the competition commission under the chairmanship of Mayor Ilsur Metshin, three candidates will be presented to the Kazan City Duma.

The competition commission was formed of six people, it included Mayor Ilsur Metshin, First Deputy Head of the municipality of Kazan Rustam Nigmatullin, head of the Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Asgat Safarov, Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Yuri Kamaltynov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Chief of Staff of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan Shamil Gafarov and chairman of the Standing Committee on Law, Order and Local Government Lilia Bakulina.

Six candidates were declared to participate in the competition: temporarily unemployed Bulat Muhtasipov, Kazan City Duma deputy Rushaniya Bilgildeeva, a military retiree, lieutenant colonel Kamil Ganiev, Kazan City Duma deputy Azat Islaev, head of the Executive Commitee Denis Kalinkin and temporarily unemployed Dmitry Berdnikov. The last candidate did not participate in the competition because he has not provided a full package of necessary documents.

As a result, five of the candidates have been interviewed by the competitive commission. Bulat Muhtasipov’s candidacy was rejected because of several limitations: he does not have experience of management activity, did not serve in the army and is registered in the city of Chistopol, which was the reason for its exclusion from the competition.

Applicants for the post were asked about the reasons for the nomination of the contest, what priorities they see in their work in the case of the election as the head of the Executive Committee. So, members of the competition commission asked Rushaniya Bilgildeeva, what social projects in the city she considers to be necessary to implement. Rushaniya Bilgildeeva considers the problem of qualitative provision of social guarantees to the population of the city as the priority in her work.

According to the results, the contest commission decided to introduce to the Kazan City Duma following candidates for the consideration for the position of head of the Executive Committee of the Municipality of Kazan: Rushaniya Bilgildeeva, Azat Islaev and Denis Kalinkin.

The Mayor thanked all the candidates for participation in the competition.
