Retail trade turnover in Sovietsky district in the past year amounted to 144.8 billion rubles
(Kazan City KZN.RU, January 20, Ksenia Shvetsova). Retail trade turnover in Sovietsky district at the end of 2015 increased by 9.9% to 144.8 billion rubles. In the structure of the city's economy trade takes 14.1%. Last year 25 new facilities for trade opened in the district, most of them are convenience stores. This was reported to the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin by the head of administration of Sovietsky district Rustem Gafarov at a meeting of the summarizing of 2015.
In total there are 1440 enterprises of the consumer market and services at the district, and the number of employees in the industry is 30,100 people.
Along with the development of retail areas, fight with the unauthorized trade is conducted in the district. According to R.Gafarov, in total over the past year 55 raids were conducted. As a result, 9 centers of unauthorized trade were stopped, 457 protocols of administrative violations in the amount of more than 5 million rubles were composed.
