Ilsur Metshin called the growing level of communication with the public as one of the results of the Kazan police garrison. "With the analysis of citizens’ requests, entering the Internet reception, sounding at personal meetings and working groups, it becomes clear that Kazan residents are concerned about the problems of drug addiction of young people and juvenile delinquency. In 2015 a program for the prevention of offenses until 2020 was adopted to solve these problems, "- said the Mayor.

According Ilsur Metshin, a significant event of the year for Kazan was the revival of the work of police strongholds. "Overhaul of 11 strongholds is ending, one else premise was picked up and 6 administrative and residential complexes for district officers are planned to build. We see great promises in the work of strongholds. We received effective helpers. Since the beginning of work of strongholds in August 2015 in Kazan, about 5 thousand protocols on administrative offenses were made up, the fines on 16 million rubles were imposed, "- the Mayor of Kazan said about results of work.
