Mayor of Kazan thanked residents for saving of the swans on the lake Kaban
(Kazan City KZN.RU, January 18, Zilya Gayfi). Head of the Civil Protection Ferdinand Timurhanov told about the unique rescue operation of swans today at the business Monday. On December 30, a single dispatching rescue of residents received 16 calls for assistance to swans living on the lake Kaban. Due to the low temperature area of ice-free water was reduced to 10 meters, which threatened the life of birds. Rescuers caught the swans and handed over to Kazan zoological and botanic garden.
Ilsur Metshin thanked indifferent Kazan residents, whose care helped to save the swans, and rescuers. "In the future the initiators of these ideas should think about the winter maintenance of their pets," - said the Mayor.
