For Kazan 2015 was a time of great achievements and significant events. XVI World Aquatics recognized as the best in the history of the FIFA World Cup of Water sports. This event gave a new impetus to the development of tourism - more than 2 million people became guests of our city this year.
Much has been done to our city has become even more comfortable for residents. In addition to traditional program of overhaul of houses, yards and roads, this year we managed to bring the beauty to dozens of our parks and gardens. With the support of the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the participation of businesses, many green areas of Kazan and waterfront of Kazanka River became places of permanent attraction of people.
City continues to develop - the construction of new areas, the subway, schools and kindergartens is going on. New production facilities are put in operation, new jobs are created. Despite the crisis in the economy, our industry maintains its position. Kazan continues to develop as a major educational center, where the best students from across the region strive to study. Small and medium business is stepping up its momentum, creating additional convenience and comfort services for citizens.
New projects are on the threshold. Global - such as the FIFA World Cup and “WorldSkills Competition-2019” - and very personal, of which lives of all of us are composed. I wish that the New Year will present new opportunities to all and all the plans will be implemented!
