I. Metshin: "All the inhabitants of Kazan must comply with the rules of improvement"

The efficiency of urban services of Kazan speaks for itself - in recent years in the capital of Tatarstan the number of dumps significantly reduced, and all the offenders whose fault they were formed, were punished. Only under observing of the rules of the city beautification by all the inhabitants, Kazan will be well-groomed and beautiful city. Mayor Ilsur Metshin called strictly control the observance of the rules of improvement and take actions against offenders at the last Business Monday.

"Sometimes the struggle with urban problems is like the fight with the dragon: you chop off one head - two more grow. But in any case we see the results of our work - the number of landfill sites decreased 2-fold in Kazan. That is the work, without which there is no movement forward, - said I. Metshin. - The rules must be the same for all. We must work together to ensure that they are respected by all". He also noted that the regulatory authorities cannot relax, and it is necessary to punish offenders not only with warnings, but also with fines.

As the head of the administrative and technical inspection Alfir Shamsutdinov told, the fight against unauthorized garbage stores today has meant that the number of dumps in Kazan has reached historic lows. Since the beginning of this year 81 places of solid domestic, bulky and construction waste were revealed in Kazan.

In total, in the city 141 subjects who violated the rules of waste management were brought to administrative responsibility. The number of infested areas is constantly decreasing - an average reduction is 23% per year.

Regular checks and sanctions to be applied to violators promote reducing of the amount of landfill. Only this year in Kazan, 12283 objects were examined and 8.5 thousands of violations in the sphere of improvement were revealed. The total amount of fines imposed exceeded 84.5 million rubles.

Only 6 of unauthorized dumps are now in the city.

"I am glad that the number of so-called “dirty” companies has reduced in the city, in many ways this has been achieved through the work of the administrative and technical inspection, which has become more effective. Only if everyone, regardless of the form of ownership, will abide by the rules of improvement, Kazan will be well-groomed and beautiful city, where everybody will strive to, "- said the Mayor.
