Ilsur Metshin: "We get fewer complaints from residents on the quality of repair"

(Kazan City KZN.RU, October 19, Zilya Gayfi). As part of the program of overhaul of the housing stock this year 291 apartment buildings were renovated in Kazan. System of central heating and hot water, cold water supply and drainage, electricity were updated, basements and roofs, facades and entrances were refurbished. Chairman of the Committee of Housing and Public Utilities of Executive Committee Iskander Giniyatullin resumed the results of the implementation of the program at today's Business Monday in the City Hall.

The program of overhaul of apartment housing is realized in Kazan for 8 years. "During this time 2015 houses were brought to the standards in Kazan, it is almost 40% of the total housing stock of the city. The program of this year included 291 houses, repair was made for a total amount of 1 billion 492 million rubles. Comprehensive construction and installation works were done in 155 houses, 110 lifts were replaced in 34 houses. This year we managed to save money in the amount of 45.3 million rubles. Due to this we were able to add 11 objects and in 33 houses 56 new types of work were carried out ", - said Iskander Giniyatullin.

During the year repair of central heating were carried out in 79 houses, hot water systems – in 20 houses, cold water systems - in 79 houses, sanitation systems - in 68 houses, electricity – in 60 houses, repair of basements – in 35 houses, repair of the roofs - in 85 houses, repair of facades – in 101 houses and porches – in 72 houses. Kazan houses become not only more comfortable, but also safe. So, under the program "Safe City" installation of video surveillance systems is carried out in the houses of the Moskovsky and Privlzhsky areas on an experimental basis.

In the course of implementing of the overhaul program, special attention was paid to the implementation of energy saving measures. For these purposes 12.8 million rubles were allocated from the federal Fund of Housing Reform, 432 millions - from the budget of Tatarstan, 290 millions - from the city budget, 756 millions – from the funds of the owners. According to Iskander Giniyatullin, every year the amount of funds allocated by the owners for the repair of their houses increases.

Ilsur Metshin noted the effectiveness of the program of houses overhaul for this year - the city has not only fulfilled all its obligations, but also exceeded the program. "At the beginning of the year we had glum predictions. With the support of the President of Tatarstan program was not phased out or reduced. In addition, we even exceeded it, despite the rise of the prices. This shows the effectiveness of use of funds. We will continue. God grant that the economy will allow us to continue to meet our obligations. This work is important to carry out together with the residents. This year we get fewer complaints about the quality of repairs. Thanks to indifferent residents who take the initiative in the acceptance of work ", - said the Mayor.
