Almost 4500 families in Kazan celebrate the New Year in new apartments
(KZN.RU, December 29, Renat Shirmanov). More than 570 people received keys from new apartments in Kazan. Today employees of the Dwelling and Comfort holding company has been housing 3 apartment buildings today on the Fuchik street. The housing process and quality of the dwelling was checked by Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan who assured that all the "problem" houses will be completed.
"We started to build these houses in February of this year. Thus the good quality housing is commissioned in the shortest possible time. These houses are populated by people waiting for social mortgage, and young families, and veterans. I recall that this year will be handed over 280,000 square meters of housing in total; this is a 210 square meters more than last year. I want to express my gratitude for the builders who have coped with all the difficulties, first of all climatic ones - in the summer there was an anomalous heat but the winter has presented its surprises. I would like to mention that these houses were built by our Kazan builders. Companies involved in construction of the houses are not so famous but they have proven their ability to construct good quality housing in the shortest time. Andit pleases", IlsurMetshin noted.
Thus in 2010 almost 4,500 families in Kazan are participants of the social mortgage program and the Young Family program as well as veterans of the World War II. All of them received keys from their new apartments and had a happy housewarming.
Construction of houses under the social mortgage program will continue in 2011 and will also be conducted in the Kirovsky, Privolzhsky, Sovetsky Aviastroitelny districts of Kazan. At the present time 12 apartment buildings with a total area of almost 145 thousand square meters have begun.
"The final plans for the next year will be approved in January when Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic put before us the task that we will implement next year", Ilsur Metshin summed up.
