Another institute to open in Kazan
Kama State Institute of Physical Education to move from Naberezhnye Chelny to the capital city of republic. Today at a "Business Monday" at City Hall Ilsur Metshin announced the results of the meeting of the leadership of Tatarstan with Minister of Education and Science of Russia, Andrei Fursenko, who last week was in Kazan on a working visit.
In particular, it was decided to move the Kama State Institute of Physical Culture from the city of Naberezhnye Chelny to Kazan. Already selected a place for a building of new Kazan institute - at the entrance to the capital of the republic, near the village of Universiade, part of residential and sporting facilities of which will be transferred to the needs of new educational establishment.
- With another federal institute grows our city - said the Mayor of Kazan. - We have a task before us - in the next academic year it must be able to take the first students. And we will done it, to September 1, 2011 we will open the institute.
