"Rubin" outplayed "Anji" with the score 2: 1
(Kazan City KZN.RU, November 1). "Rubin" outplayed "Anji" in a match of the 14th round Rosgosstrakh Russian Championship with the score 2: 1 by 18 corner kicks. Two goals in the Makhachkala gate are on the account of Marko Devic, who scored twice in the middle of the first half.
On the first minute advantage of "Rubin" became apparent, it was obvious that the players of our team are of the higher class. Marko Devic, consistently appearing in the starting lineup, threatened the goal twice.
An accident helped our team to open the score - Sergei Pesyakov grossly mistaken after the serve of Magomed Ozdoev, and ubiquitous Devic sent the ball into the empty goal keeper. This goal threw an opponent in a light stupor, and "Rubin" rushed to double the advantage. Just a couple of minutes were enough to do it. In the remaining time before the break the teams rarely troubled the gates of each other. This development of the play, of course, served the guests’ purposes. Only at the end of half the players of "Anji" threatened the goal, but our defense headed by Sergei Ryzhikov acted confidently.
The second half began expectedly with the attacks of the home side, but it was at their gates where the most dangerous moment of this segment of the game took place. Eduardo from five meters after the serve of Devic failed to break Pesyakov.
