"Neftekhimik" from Nizhnekamsk beats "Volga-Olympian" from Nizhny Novgorod with the score 1: 0 in Kazan
(Kazan City KZN.RU, October 26). The stadium "Kazan Arena" opened its first football season with the match of professional football league in the area of the Ural-Volga region between the clubs "Neftekhimik" (Nizhnekamsk) and "Volga-Olympian" (Nizhny Novgorod). The game was conducted on the new lawn and ended in victory of Nizhnekamsk with the score 1: 0. The president of FC "Rubin" Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin watched the playing.
The match became a test drive before the game of Kazan "Rubin" and British “Liverpool” that will be held in the capital of Tatarstan November 5th. Today UEFA experts had the opportunity to assess the quality of the field, the stadium infrastructure, the ability to conduct video broadcasting, the level of safety for spectators and other moments. According to regulations before the match the stadium has to go through the accreditation of committee of UEFA, for this arena should take an official game in the presence of at least 15 thousand spectators.
The match was attended by thousands of Kazan residents, as well as the president of FC "Rubin" Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin. Nizhnekamsk and Nizhny Novgorod fans came to support their teams. All of them received a free ticket at the box office of the stadium "Kazan Arena" and the right of free travel on all public transport on the day of the match.
A lottery prize was organized in honor of the first football match at the stadium "Kazan Arena" for fans. During the game branded paraphernalia of the club, tickets for the upcoming match "Rubin" - "Liverpool", household appliances and the main prize - a car were played. Prizes were presented by the captain of "Rubin" Oleg Kuzmin, goalkeeper Sergei Ryzhikov and midfielder Gekdeniz Karadeniz.
