(Kazan, KZN.RU, May 16, by Renat Shirmanov). In response to the initiative of the Kazan University Association of Law Department Alumni, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin opened a series of workshops entitled "100 Questions to a Professional". During the master class, the students and alumni asked Ilsur Metshin numerous questions.
The master class topic was "Infinite responsibility and limited capacity of the municipality."
"In fact, the Executive Committee is responsible for everything: people don't care about the differences among the federal, republican and municipal powers. On waking up, they want to turn on the light and water, go to the clean entrance lobby and courtyard and see beautiful architecture. Landscaping, timely garbage collection, quality meals for children in schools – all this and more is in the sphere of our responsibility," said the mayor.
The audience was keenly interested in various issues – from personal to professional, related to their future employment and involvement in politics and other activities.
"Our unemployment rate is about 1%. There are four or five vacancies for each unemployed person. Today, young people usually want to get everything at once. There was a time when I started working in the municipal service for a small salary. But I learned to work hard. I also advise you to move through life step by step and learn to work well. Then you will become an indispensable building block in the foundation of the collective in which you labor," said the Mayor of Kazan.
The students asked the mayor about the traits a person should develop in the first place. "Be a professional regardless of whether you are a lawyer, a bus driver or a photographer. Be honest with yourself and others. Not tomorrow, not on Monday but today. Be honest and do good deeds for the benefit of those around you," said Ilsur Metshin. “Do more good and live actively. Now is the time when you can best express themselves. Ask, and it will be given to you; knock, and it will be opened to you. Be happy, love and be loved. Remember, the goal is not at the end of the path, the goal is the journey itself, " summed up Ilsur Metshin.
The mayor of Kazan also asked for suggestions to improve the legal framework of the municipality.
