Tatarstan's first multilingual preschool opens in Kazan
(KZN.RU, February 7, by Ekaterina Andreeva) Tatarstan's first multilingual preschool “Bala City” opened in Kazan. Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin came to greet the young students and their teachers.
The public-private partnership "Bala City" comprises an educational center and a preschool. It is located in Vakhitovsky district's school No. 98 (at 23 A.Eniki Street). The main task of the new educational institution is to teach preschoolers languages through immersion. The kids are learning Russian, Tatar, English and Chinese. The latter two are taught through games by native speakers.
