In Kazan, according to the program of this year, capital
repairs of residential buildings have been completed by 37%. The pace of work
this year should be kept, noted the Mayor of the city Ilsur Metshin.
“In terms of the amount of the overhaul of the housing
stock, we are going for a record, such a volume in one season has never been renovated.
We plan to do as much as possible for the citizens in summer. Taking into
account the implementation of the renovation program since 2008, we will repair
3,500 houses, which is 70% of the housing stock of Kazan”, - the head of the
city said at the Business Monday.
2.8 billion rubles were allocated for the overhaul of
295 houses, the program is financed from the republican and municipal budgets,
as well as by the owners of the houses, said Dmitry Anisimov, chair of the
Housing and Utilities Committee. The key works for this year are the renovation
of facades, roofs and utilities.
“This year we plan to repair 147 roofs. In 106 houses,
work will be carried out on repair of the facades, in 123 houses-the heating
system will be updated, and in 4 more houses-the fire protection system will be
replaced”, -D.Anisimov reported. In addition, as part of the maintenance, property
management organizations will renovate the facades of 139 houses, roofs of 57
houses, heating in 55 houses, entrances in 328 houses. Weather control units
will be installed in 42 houses.
On September 15, seasonal work for the repair of facade,
roof and central heating will be completed, and the rest-by September 30.
During the competitive procedures, the general
contracting organizations were identified: OOO “KSK” company will repair 159
houses and OOO “RSS Engineering” -22 houses. The replacement of elevator
equipment is carried out by OOO “LiftStroyKompaniya”, the same as last year.
As of June 21, the actual volume of repair work was
completed by 37% of the main program, the percentage of approved work
completion certificates is 17%.
Currently, the overhaul has not yet begun in 28
houses, but the work schedules have been approved.
Among other things, the slowdown in work is caused by
rising prices for construction materials: the cost of some types of work has
increased by 2-3 times from the estimated cost of the tender documentation, D.Anisimov
explained.
“This issue is acute not only in Kazan, but all over
the country”, - said the chair of the Housing and Utilities Committee.
According to him, an appeal was submitted to the Ministry of Construction,
Architecture and Housing of the Russian Federation on the issue of
documentation.
This year, 54 apartment buildings will be additionally
renovated. The work schedules for these buildings will be approved in the near
future. Seventy-one low-rise buildings will be renovated this year.
“It is good that this year we will repair 71 low-rise
buildings. As a rule, these are very old houses, and the amount of funds that
the residents collect is always in short supply. In some houses, the owners
would have collected the necessary amount for 150 years – Ilsur Metshin
commented. – The words of thanks to the President and the Government for
supporting our initiative, for allocation additional funds for this purpose
from the republican and municipal budgets”.
The Mayor of Kazan instructed to keep the pace of
work, as well as to conduct additional explanations with new contractors about
the regulations.
He also called on Kazan residents to control the
progress of work. “We ask the residents to be active. If you have any comments and
suggestions, please let us know immediately”, - I.Metshin summed up.
