I sincerely congratulate you on the 74th anniversary of the Great Victory!
May 9 is a sacred date in national history, which will always remind us of the price of peace on earth. This day has become a symbol of the unprecedented courage and resilience of our people, who defended their native land in bloody battles.
We are indebted to the older generation, whose share has been the horrors of war and the pain of loss. Eternal glory to the heroes who fell on the battlefields! We bow to those who survived, who worked in the rear, bringing this bright day closer, who carried out the post-war years, raised the country from ruins and ashes! Thanks to the heroism of our fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers, we live in a free and strong country, have the opportunity to live and raise children.
I wish our dear veterans good health, happy and long life, and a peaceful sky above to all residents of Kazan!
