Council of the RT.
“An important period is coming in the political life of
Tatarstan and its capital. We form a parliament, and it is important for us who
will enter it. I have headed the United Russia branch in Kazan for 13 years,
one of the largest city party organizations in Russia. All the transformations
that residents and guests of our capital see are made headed by our President
Rustam Minnikhanov, a member of the Supreme Council of the “United Russia”
party. We cannot stand aside. I decided to take part in the primaries, we will
work as a united team led by the President to win”, said I. Metshin. He added
that participation in preliminary voting is another opportunity to hear the citizens.
Ilsur Metshin also took part in the first presidential
primaries in 2015.
“Any election campaign is an opportunity to compare notes
with voters. We will hold a large number of meetings, this is a good
opportunity to get feedback from the population. Once again we want to hear the
residents and their wishes. Any election work is a good reason for a dialog
with residents”, concluded the Mayor of Kazan.
