(KZN.RU, January 31, Alena Miroshnichenko). A modern pavilion was established at the stop “Vosstaniya” in the Moskovsky district of Kazan when moving in the direction of Levchenko. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, assessed the heated pavilion equipped with air conditioning and video surveillance, emergency call button, Wi-Fi, a phone charging device, vending machine, video panel, and also anti-vandal windows.
The bus stop was established with the support of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts’ administration of with funds from the LEDEL company and other partners. At the presentation of the pavilion, Artyom Kogdanin, the company CEO, noted that the idea of its creation was dictated by the desire to help the city. “This is a charitable project for us. We brought along our partners who are engaged in construction, and together gathered all the necessary materials for the construction of the bus stop. We set it up as an experiment, but already now we receive calls at the office with gratitude. It is a place where you can warm up now, and an air conditioner will work during the summer period. At first, everyone was afraid to come in. They did not believe us and thought that there would be a stall here”, said A. Kogdanin.
Security issues have also received great attention. Inside and outside the room is an emergency button, the call goes directly to the EMERCOM. Sergey Mironov, the head of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts’ administration of Kazan, noted that, if necessary, the rescue personnel may call back to the bus stop, for example, to clarify the circumstances of the incident. Not so long ago, this option of the bus stop has already been useful to one of the residents. The woman was feeling bad on the street and got the necessary medical care on time. “The project is launched in a pilot version for now. Anyone can leave feedback and suggestions in Google-form, you can find it by QR-code. The stop is provided with WI-Fi by the PAO “Tattelecom” and a video surveillance system by the OOO “Metacom”, the signal from which goes to the operational headquarters of the administration”, he noted.
I. Metshin asked the director of the company for the commercial component of the project. The cost of the bus stop was about 1 million 800 thousand rubles, while the maximum cost of municipal stops is 154 thousand rubles. Aidar Abdulkhakov, the chairman of the Committee on Transport, explained that today there are 3 types of stops in the city, the price of which varies from 75 to 150 thousand rubles.
The new pavilion has already been transferred to the balance of the city. A. Kogdanin said that the option of installing another such item is now being discussed. “We are considering further cooperation with the city”, he said.
“Such bus stops are important at least in those places where there is a large flow of residents, the most amount of routes intersect. This is a completely different level of comfort, safety, convenience, service. Thank you very much for doing this, it is a good example. We will seek funds, find partners to move in this direction”, marked the Mayor.
Along the bus stop “Vosstaniya”, the bus route №63 “Komissar Gabishev Street – the railway station Levchenko” runs every 9-11 minutes. It also passes through other major bus stops: Gorkovskoe Highway, Railway Station, Metro Station “Tukaya Square”, Gorky Park, and others.
