Among the
requirements for entrepreneurs who will sell Christmas trees, the main thing is
to ensure cleanliness and order at the trading place and to bring the Christmas
tree market to its original state after the end of the season. The control over
the observance of the trade rules in the markets will be ensured by the
employees of the public law and order departments of the administrations of the

Ilsur
Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, noted that artificial trees that are already being
sold in the city’s shopping centers can become a good alternative to natural
ones. This solution is the most environmentally friendly. “My dream is that not
a single Christmas tree get cut to the New Year. When we were children, there
was no such offer and variety of artificial Christmas trees. Now they are
presented for every taste”, said the Mayor.
