The Mayor of Kazan met with the Krasnoyarsk Region governor
(KZN.RU, November 9, Alsu Safina). The Kazan experience of Summer student games-2013 and the forthcoming World Winter Universiade-2019 in Krasnoyarsk were discussed by Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, and Alexander Uss, the Krasnoyarsk Region governor. Roman Shajkhutdinov, the deputy of the Prime Minister of the RT, the minister of the computerisation and communication of the RT took part in it as well.
The chapter of the Siberian region arrived to Kazan within the torch relay of the XXIX World Winter Universiade-2019 which will be held on the main city streets of the capital city of Tatarstan tomorrow, on November 10.
Ilsur Metshin noted that Kazan and Krasnoyarsk Region have long-standing friendly relations. “Now we are united by the Student games event, - the Mayor of city said. - There is no doubt that World Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk will be held at the highest level“. “We will do everything for our experience that will help you organize this event”, - I.Metshin emphasised.
The Mayor of Kazan and the Krasnoyarsk Region governor discussed the questions of development of professional and mass sport, as well as the plans for the use World Winter Universiade objects.
