(KZN.RU,
August 10, Ksenia Shvetsova). The overhaul of the building the Tatar-Russian
school №113 and the school №13 is coming to an end. At the same time, the
improvement of the square and the preparation of the site for the installation
of the monument is finishing in the yard of the school. This year, there will
be a bust of Hero of Russia Marat Akhmetshin. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of
Kazan, inspected the overhaul and instructed to speed up the pace of work to
complete them by the beginning of the school year.
The
building at Adoratsky Street, №36a, unites two educational institutions:
Tatar-Russian school №113 with the in-depth study of individual subjects and
the school №13 with the Tatar language of instruction. Last year, when the
school was given the name of Hero of Russia Marat Akhmetshin, it was decided to
create a landscaped square with a bust of Hero on the school grounds. Marat
Akhmetshin studied at this school from 1988 to 1997 and died last year while
performing military duty in the Syrian Arab Republic. The building of the school
was built in 1988, it has not been overhauled since then.
The Mayor
of the city instructed to include the school in the capital repair program for
this year, and today the work on the renovation of the educational institution
is at the final stage. About 150 million rubles was allocated for the overhaul
of the school; the contractor was the OOO SK “Promgradstroy”.
“The
overhaul was highly needed here”, said Elvira Yunusova, the head of the school
№113. “We are very much looking forward and hope that the school will meet the
children in a different way on September 1”. The renovation will affect about
900 people that study in the building.
The largest
work has already been done. According to Mikhail Kandakov, the head of the
contract organization, 5 thousand out of 5.5 thousand square meters of the roof
have been updated, 4 thousand out of 4.5 thousand square meters of the facade
have been completed. “Renovation of heating is completed by 90%. We have
already finished changing the water supply and sewage systems. All the wiring
is done, lamps are going to be installed”, explained Mikhail Kandakov. “The
territory is improved by 60%, asphalt will be laid last in order to keep the
surface clean. We are trying to finish it by the beginning of September”.
The facade
of the school was painted in different colors, and the block of the Tatar
grammar school differs in color from the rest of the school. At the same time,
the design of the two educational institutions will not differ in any way. The
pedagogical staff and the students are very friendly and perceive the two
educational institutions as one.
The Mayor
inspected the site, which is being prepared for the installation of the
monument, and instructed to create an additional entrance to the school grounds
for the convenience of schoolchildren and teachers.
“The
overhaul of this schools is very important, these are big, popular
institutions. They were not included in the repair program for this year. So we
thank the President of the RT and the leaders who decided to repair and
allocated the funds”, said I. Metshin. “More importantly that there will be
patriotic upbringing. Marat Akhmetshin is our hero, so we hope that the
renovated school will promote the patriotic upbringing not only of its
students, but of all children living nearby”.
The Mayor
also noted that the overhaul of other Kazan educational institutions is in full
swing. “For today, we have repaired 80% of our schools that required an
overhaul. 134 out of 162 schools have already been updated, this is a good pace
of work”.
In addition
to the two educational institutions in the building, there is a music school.
According to E. Yunusova, about 370 school students visit it. The main
direction of the music school is jazz, but there is also a choral department
and choreography. The music school will also meet its students in an updated
form; the repair work is almost complete there.
During the
inspection of the school, Guzel Ananieva, the general director of the
Department of Food and Social Catering of Kazan, presented to the Mayor the
draft of the future school restaurant. It will be designed in the Tatar style.
The Mayor instructed to work out the design of the restaurant in more detail,
making it more peaceful so that children will not get tired of too bright
colors.
“It feels
like a new school that just been built, but it is 30 years old!” noted I.
Metshin. “Everything we see here today completely suits us. The quality of the
work is high, there would be no complaints later. And it is important to complete
everything by September 1”.
Timur
Alibayev, the head of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts’
administration, Ilnar Khidiyatov, the head of the Department of Education,
Stanislav Shyrybarov, the deputy director of the GISU RT, and others took part
in the inspection.
