(KZN.RU, July 30, Ksenia Shvetsova). The overhaul of five teenage clubs is almost completed in Kazan, three more are at the final stage of works. Dmitry Anisimov, the chairman of the Committee on Housing and Communal Services, announced this today at the Business Monday.
In total, 8 teenage clubs are included in the overhaul program this year. Today, more than 1500 children and teenagers are involved in them. After repair, their capacity will increase by 15%. In addition, a new teenage club “Laser” will be opened after renovation in Derbyshki, up to 700 children and adolescents will attend it. As a result of this year, 44% of teenage clubs (25 out of 57) will be updated in Kazan, said D. Anisimov.
Such large-scale works on updating social facilities are a unique experience of Tatarstan, said the Mayor. “Teenage clubs, health camps, schools, kindergartens are being done on such a scale only in our republic. There is no such program in other regions. Thanks to Rustam Minnikhanov, our President, this is an invaluable help to all municipalities”, said I. Metshin.
Also, D. Anisimov told that 9 objects of Kazan are included in the program “Affordable Environment” for this year: 3 teenage clubs, 4 polyclinics, and 2 kindergartens. Today, the work is being done on each of these sites.
