Residents of the Moskovsky district save up to 4 thousand rubles for the winter due to the nodes of weather regulation

The nodes of weather regulation, installed within the framework of major repairs in the houses of the Moskovsky district of Kazan, allow to significantly reduce the population's payment for the consumed heat energy. Already two heating season in a row, one apartment saves about 4 thousand rubles for the winter on average. Oleg Kalimov, the head of the OOO “Housing and Communal Services of the Moskovsky district”, told to Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, about this and how to turn garbage into children's swings during the report on the results of the work.

For 12 years, the OOO “Housing and Communal Services of the Moskovsky district” manages almost 90% of the housing stock of the district, which is home to more than 100 thousand people.

The overwhelming majority are the five-story buildings, whose service life is close to 50 years. This is reflected in the number of appeals from residents on housing maintenance. “The system “Open Kazan” was a good help in solving these issues. We began to work with this system one of the first almost 7 years ago”, said the speaker. Thanks to the quick response to citizens' appeals, the number of requests to “People's Control” decreases.

In addition, residents can watch images from video cameras in the system “Open Kazan”, installed as part of the program “Safe City”. The management company has already installed 1034 cameras in 378 houses.

The management company uses social networks to work with residents. They helped popularize the separate collection of garbage. Special containers are already placed on 72 garbage dumps. In total, from July 2015 to the present, more than 4000 cubic meters of PET have been collected, which is 34 tons. The savings on garbage disposal amounted to more than 1 million rubles.

The management company directs funds for the purchase of new containers, as well as the installation of children's swings in yards. Last year they installed 8 ones.

Oleg Kalimov mentioned the issues of overhauling the housing stock. According to him, to improve the organization of work and strict observance of all processes, a regulation procedure for the overhaul of apartment buildings was developed. This year it is distributed to each head of the contract organization before the beginning of work for the first time. “In this way, a single standard of production is built at each facility”, said the speaker. Sergey Mironov, the head of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts’ administration, said that the regulation is planned to be tested for a year in one district, and then be used in the whole city.

As part of the overhaul, the houses are equipped with weather control nodes. According to O. Kalimov, these devices can significantly reduce the population's payment for consumed heat energy. "Developing the topic of energy saving, we went to the owners with a proposal to use borrowed funds to install such equipment. Residents supported our initiative”, he said. “For already two heating season in a row, one apartment saves about 4 thousand rubles for the winter on average. The economic effect is obvious”.

Working with citizens helps in the renovation of yard areas, said the speaker. He added that before the start of the work, the employees of the management company meet with the public and discuss the draft of the future court, trying to take into account all the wishes of the residents. First of all, landscaping is carried out in yards with the largest number of the population. Over the past 3 years, the program of improvement of adjacent areas allowed to renew asphalt in yards of 96 houses.

This year, it is planned to renovate and arrange several adjacent territories on Dekabristov Street. According to the speaker, now preparatory work is being done to lay the asphalt, a design project of the yards has already been developed.

Over the past years, the management company has achieved significant results in reducing debts to resource-supplying organizations. Thus, for today, there is only one debt to the AO “Tatenergo” in the amount of 47 million 330 thousand rubles.

This is due to the fact that some residents still pay for heat in equal parts throughout the year. "Before the start of the heating season, we are forced to spend on repaying the debt funds that we could send for the repair of our housing stock”, said the speaker. According to him, it became apparent that the collection rate increased compared to 2017.

O. Kalimov also spoke about the active participation of the MC in various events. In particular, it was the Flower Festival that recently opened on the stage in front of the Puppet Theater “Ekiyat”. Ilsur Metshin, Mayor of Kazan, appreciated the composition created by the MC and noted that thanks to the efforts of the festival participants, a large number of residents and guests of the city gather on its site every day.

And in conclusion, the reporter reminded that the MC is preparing its own cadres on the basis of Kazan College of Construction, Architecture and Municipal Economy. It is the base for training future employees of the management company. Oleg Kalimov invited the Mayor to visit the center on the eve of the WorldSkills Championship, which will be held in Kazan next year.
