The anthem of the festival “Good Wave” was presented in Kazan

(KZN.RU, June 5, Alsu Safina). The anthem of the festival “Good Wave” was presented today in Kazan. The song was sounded at the concert of the Igor Krutoy Academy of Popular Music (Volga region), which officially opened in the capital of Tatarstan in April last year. The authors of the anthem, which was performed by the students of the Academy, were the composer Igor Krutoy and the songwriter Dzhakhan Pollyeva.

The students of the academy were able to demonstrate their achievements to the parents and guests of the concert. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, and Igor Krutoy, the general producer of the Academy of Popular Music, singer, composer, People's Artist of Russia, were among them.

The head of the city greeted the audience from the stage and noted the warm atmosphere in the hall. “Thanks to the fate that it associated us with Igor Krutoy”, said Ilsur Metshin. “We have a unique project “Good Wave”. And I'm glad that it was born in Kazan”.

The launch of the new all-Russian festival “Good Wave” was given on November 30 last year. It is the joint project of the Kazan City Hall and the Academy of Popular Music of Igor Krutoy under the aegis of the “Good Kazan”. This movement unites pupils of orphanages, children left without parental care, children from large and poor families, children with disabilities, and many others on one stage. On the same day, the first gala concert of the festival took place.

Ilsur Metshin thanked the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. This year the festival received support from the presidential grant fund. It was possible to significantly expand the geography of the festival. Qualifying stages will be held in 9 Russian cities: Kazan, Kursk, Krasnodar, Sevastopol, Vladivostok, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, and Moscow. The regional stage of the competition starts tomorrow. “These are special children. It's good that thanks to Igor Krutoy's Academy, organizers and participants will see the talents of children without limiting their opportunities”, said the Mayor. “We believe that the waves of Good Kazan will spread all over the country, and our children will have the opportunity to be talented and create on the stage and beyond”.

The importance of the project “Good Wave” was also noted by the composer Igor Krutoy. “We really need this project, the country needs it, because there is this problem in every city, in every region”, said the composer. “In the West, children with disabilities live without complexes for a long time, study in universities, and receive a profession. We have only recently joined this trend. We bringing children with disabilities with healthy children together in one project. I think that this will shorten the distance between them and many talented people will show themselves in this interaction”.

Speaking about the Academy of Popular Music, Igor Krutoy noted that such a center in Kazan, where children can develop their talents, aroused great interest. “I am very grateful to you. It is the confidence of parents, it is the trust of children”, said the producer.

After that, the anthem of the festival “Good Wave” was performed from the stage. The maestro Igor Krutoy played the piano. “It was necessary to write an anthem that will unite all, so that fathers and mothers, and above all children, want to sing it”, noted the composer. According to him, the most important thing in the anthem is the mood. “This cannot be expressed in either notes or words. If there is an atmosphere in the song, then it turned out good”, said Igor Krutoy. “You will be the judge how good it is”. The audience at the concert took the anthem of the “Good Wave” with great applause.

The concert continued with performances by the students of the Academy. Elmira Kalimullina, “Murakami”, “Bolshoi Kush”, “Progulschiki”, Andrey Rudenko, Maria Semenova, Karina Ziganshina, Albina Kazykhanova, Matvey Kozin were invited to the concert. All proceeds from the tickets will be sent to Angela Vavilova's Fund.

The Board of Trustees of the All-Russian Festival Movement was approved and signed a schedule of regional tours of the festival “Good Wave” in the Kazan City Hall before the concert.

Tomorrow the first selection rounds of the contest regional stage will begin in the updated CCS “Moskovsky”, which will last two days and end on June 8 with a gala concert. The winners of the festival will perform there, which will be determined in several areas (music, stage art, and choreography) and the winner of the grand prix will be announced.

The gala concert of the All-Russian Festival will be held in Kazan on November 30. Talented children from all over the country will come out on stage with pop stars and eminent artists Philipp Kirkorov, Sergey Lazarev, Valeriya, Yuliana Karaulova, and others.
