(KZN.RU,
June 5, Ksenia Shvetsova). Today, the Kazan City Hall approved the composition
of the Board of Trustees of the All-Russian Festival Movement and signed a
schedule for holding regional rounds of the festival “Good Wave”, organized
under the auspices of the project “Good Kazan”. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of
Kazan, and Igor Krutoy, the general producer of the festival, People's Artist
of Russia, attended the ceremony.
Ilsur
Metshin welcomed the guests of the ceremony, among whom were the participants
of last year's festival. He reminded that the project “Good Kazan”, within the
framework of which the festival is held, is one of the 12 priorities of urban
development aimed at creating a charity culture. “This project does not just
create conditions for charitable assistance. But it allows to form a society
whose principles are based on care and consideration, respect, complicity,
love, and kindness towards each other”, said the Mayor and added that the
festival “Good Kazan” played a good role in it. He also reminded that the first
gala concert of the festival was held in November last year. “Creativity is the
most guiding star that helps to believe in the best of thousands of people in
our country, regardless of life circumstances”, said I. Metshin. “It is
gratifying that our festival the “Good Wave” is a platform where children's
dreams come true, because here they have a unique opportunity to enter one
stage with the stars of the first magnitude and understand that everything is
possible”.
The Mayor
thanked Igor Krutoy and all those who supported the initiative to hold the
festival in Kazan. He also expressed his special gratitude to the fund of
presidential grants of the Russian Federation. Under the auspices of the “Good
Kazan”, the festival “Good Wave” received 66 million rubles. It allowed to
expand the geography of the festival, covering 9 cities of the country: Kazan,
Kursk, Krasnodar, Sevastopol, Vladivostok, Novosibirsk, Ekaterinburg, St.
Petersburg, and Moscow.
At the end
of the speech, the Mayor thanked the teachers and the leaders of the creative
teams, who with patience and care develop the talents of young musicians,
singers and dancers. He wished all the participants of the festival success:
“Let us together successes in this great and good endeavor. And let the dreams
come true!”.
Igor Krutoy
noted that the “Good Wave” is a unique event of its kind, and today there is no
such festival in any region of the country. “Until now, there was no platform
on which children with disabilities along with all other children did something
together, supported each other, helped creatively. Kazan became the first city
in which such a project appeared”, said I. Krutoy. He also noted the victory of
Kazan in the competition for grants of the President of the Russian Federation.
“The fact that 58 grants have been given to Tatarstan means that much attention
is paid to the theme of charity”, believes the composer. “I am grateful to both
the Mayor of Kazan and the President of the RT for their close attention to
such projects”.
Speaking
about the main goal of the festival, which is fulfilling the cherished desires
of children, the composer recalled that last year many of the participants were
able to make their dreams come true. One of the children dreamed of seeing
Sofia Rotaru. And, for example, and visually impaired Jamil Khamitov, a young
violinist dreamed of meeting with Yuri Bashmet.
Ilsur
Metshin and Igor Krutoy launched a new “Good Wave” having signed the schedule
of regional festival tours and having approved the composition of the Board of
Trustees of the All-Russian Festival Movement.
The
festival “Good Wave”, the presentation of which was held at the end of last
year in Kazan, is a joint project of the Kazan City Hall and the Academy of
Popular Music of Igor Krutoy. Last week it became known that it was among the
winners of the contest for grants of the President of the Russian Federation
