(KZN.RU, May 28, Ksenia Shvetsova). An extensive entertainment program is planned on the Children's Day in Kazan. At 11 am in the Kazan Kremlin, the festival “Wizards of the Radiant City” will begin, which includes exhibitions of children's art works, interactive games, master classes in applied art. The festive program will last until 3 pm.
An entertaining program for small Kazan citizens is prepared in all parks and squares of the city. From 11 am to 2 pm in the Gorky Park, the “Championships of Childhood” will take place. Everyone can participate in it regardless of age. The program includes sports games, dance master classes from the best choreographers of the city, an entertaining program with the participation of the best children's creative groups of the city, dedicated to the upcoming World Cup.
Thematic holidays will be held in the city. For example, entertainment program based for fans of films and novels about “Harry Potter” will begin in the park “Krylya Sovetov” at 3 pm, based on this film and prepared by the youth center “Gaidar”. “The program includes a concert, a lottery of prizes, master classes from teachers, games on the sports ground”, said A. According to A. Faizov, special attention was given to children from low-income families. There will be tours to the theater named after G. Kamal and the Kazan Theater of the Young Spectator for them. In addition, family festivals and performances will be held in the parks and squares of the city, as well as charitable events for children with disabilities and for children from socially vulnerable families.
“I am sure that due to a large number of events and entertainment areas, children will be able to fully enjoy the holiday and spend this day brightly”, said A. Faizov.
“Children are the most precious thing that we have. We live for them, we work for them. We must remember that every time has its own threats. We defeated smallpox, chickenpox, and other similar diseases. But today, children are threatened by other challenges, and they are more of a socio-technological nature”, believes I. Metshin. “The temptation of the virtual world, computers - all this, probably, develops the brain, but it’s not at all useful for health. We set the task to bring up a physically and spiritually healthy generation of young people. On the eve of Children's Day, we together should think about how to confront these challenges, what to focus on, what are the most important directions for us in this work”, concluded Ilsur Metshin.
There will be a lot of thematic events timed to the celebration of the Children's Day in teenage clubs, city libraries, houses of cultures, school camps, parks and cultural centers of Kazan throughout the week.
