The 45th anniversary of the founding of the Moskovsky district was celebrated in Kazan

(KZN.RU, April 23, Ksenia Shvetsova). A concert dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the foundation of the Moskovsky district was held today in the concert hall of the Kazan cultural center “Moskovsky”. Veterans, heads of enterprises, organizations and various institutions of the district were invited to the celebration. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, and Yuri Kamaltynov, the deputy chairman of the State Council of the RT, congratulated those present on the occasion and awarded honored figures and veterans who made a significant contribution to the development of the district. A concert with performances of honored artists and creative groups was organized for the guests.

The Moskovsky district was formed on April 5, 1973. Today more than 131.9 thousand people live there, there are 99 streets and 908 houses, including 257 individual buildings.

The Moskovsky district is one of the most dynamically developing for today. Over the past 5 years, 183 houses, 46 roads with an area of almost 750,000 square meters, 185 houses with a total area of 230,000 square meters have been renovated there. The park Sosnovaya Roscha and Uritsky Park are completely restored, the Gagarin Square, the square of the Northern Railway Station and the square on Khimikov Street are renovated. All schools, kindergartens, polyclinics and hospitals, cultural institutions have been updated.

Since the day of its foundation, the Moskovsky district has been the leader in achievements in all spheres of social and economic development, which is an undoubted merit of the district leadership. Therefore, honorary guests of the holiday were veterans of labor and former leaders who founded the region. Farit Nizamiev, the chairman of the Executive Committee of the Moskovsky District Council of Working People's Deputies, Kharis Nurullin, the I Secretary of the Moskovsky District Committee of the CPSU Kazan, Olga Ermakova, the chairman of the Executive Committee of the Moskovsky District Council of Working People's Deputies, Lyubov Mishina, the chairman of the Executive Committee of the Moskovsky District Council of Working People's Deputies, and others were among them. They thanked the leadership of the city and the republic for their attention and support.

“Today's anniversary is an excellent occasion to unite the inhabitants and leadership of not only the Moskovsky district, but the whole city”, Ilsur Metshin addressed with a salutatory word. “Our first leaders are present in the hall. We understand how difficult it was for our predecessors. But at the same time, you loved all people in the city, weekly held personal receptions of dozens of citizens”. The Mayor also noted that the Moskovsky district is a powerful industrial center, on the territory of which many city-forming enterprises are located.

The Mayor noted the success of the district in the development of the social sphere. “Our best schools are in the Moskovsky district. Successes in the development of sports, culture, and medicine - all this is a reason for the Moskovsky district to be proud of its successes, its stories and confidently looked to the future”, said the Mayor.

Yuri Kamaltynov, the deputy chairman of the State Council of the RT, addressed the guests of the holiday with words of gratitude for achievements and congratulations. He expressed hope that the district will continue to be the locomotive of development of the city. “I am one of the representatives of the Moskovsky district. This is a good date, the day when there is an opportunity to remember how we worked, made friends, welcomed friends and guests together. I would like to express special gratitude to today's head for this opportunity to meet with old friends”, said Y. Kamaltynov.

“This is a very important date for us, an occasion to say thank you to those people who created this district with their own labor, built houses, infrastructure”, Sergey Mironov, the head of the district, addressed the residents. “Since 2009, I was lucky to get into the team of the Mayor of Kazan. And today is exactly 2 years since I became the head of the district. It is a great honor for us to work in the team of the Kazan City Hall. Now we have a strong team that would not have taken a step without the support of citizens. I hope that the years will pass, and then we will be able to remember with pleasure all that we managed to realize”.

Outstanding residents of the Moskovsky district were awarded diplomas, gratitude and memorable badges for productive work, achievements in the professional sphere, contribution to the development of the district and the city.
