The construction of the temporary infrastructure of the fan festival of FIFA near will begin on May 10
(KZN.RU, April 16, Ekaterina Vislavskaya). This year, it is planned to repair 39 roads, 83 streets, 14 sidewalks, and 59 streets in residential areas in Kazan in preparation for the World Cup. Specialists in planting are preparing to plant about 23 thousand square meters of flower beds, hang 3000 pots and flower pots, plant 3700 trees, 20000 shrubs, lay a lawn on an area of 7.5 thousand square meters. Damir Fattakhov, the first deputy head of the Kazan Executive Committee, spoke about this today at the Business Monday.
The construction work is coming to an end on the square near the Family Center “Kazan”, where the FIFA fan festival will open in the summer. The construction of the temporary infrastructure for the festival will begin on May 10.
Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, urged for the organization of control over the quality of the works performed: repair of roads, improvement of the city, and preparation of transport infrastructure for the guests. “We understand the work, nevertheless, it needs new approaches. Kazan should look special in the palette of the cities and be remarkable for the participants and guests of the World Cup.
