Projects of construction and reconstruction in the historical center were discussed in Kazan

(KZN.RU, March 21, Alsu Safina). The construction and reconstruction projects on the territory of the historical settlement of Kazan were considered at the Executive Committee at a meeting of the working group, which was chaired by Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan. 13 out of the 14 drafts will be submitted for consideration by the President of the RT, including 2 projects recommended to be finished by that time.

Radik Shafigullin, the deputy head of the Executive Committee, Irina Dyabilkina, the head of the Department of Architecture and Urban Development, Tatiana Prokofieva, the chief architect of Kazan, Timur Kadyrov, the deputy chief architect, Nail Galeev, the head of the Department of Urban Planning, Marat Usmanov, the prefect of the MKU “Prefecture “Stary Gorod” of the Kazan Executive Committee”, Farida Zabirova, the deputy chairman of the TRO VOOPIiK, Sergey Sanachin, an Honored Architect of the RT, leading architects of the city took part in the meeting.

Tatiana Prokofieva, the chief architect of Kazan, presented a residential complex along Yapeev Street. She reminded that this project has been discussed for a long time. She explained that the site is in the center of historical buildings. The peculiarity of this site is that there was an identified cultural heritage site at this place that was lost. According to her, one of the tasks was to recreate the object but not in the place where it was.

Another object considered is a residential complex in Kalinin Street. Oleg Maklakov, the author of the project (OOO “Axiom”), said that the first floors will be put on a commercial lease, the rest will be a residential area. He explained that the projected underground parking is designed both for the public and for residents.

Another residential complex, which was discussed, is supposed to be located at the intersection of Aivazovsky and Ovrazhnaya streets. “A beautiful modern project, which was difficult to fit into the existing terrain”, noted T. Prokofieva. Nikolay Vasiliev, an advisor to the Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing of the RT, also drew attention to the complexity of the site with descents and ascents. At the same time, the presented project was made professionally, he noted.

The members of the working group approved the restaurant's projects on Gladilov Street, a complex of residential buildings and a building with trade and office premises in the quarter bounded by streets Delovaya, 25 Let Octyabrya, and 1 May; center of consumer services along Engels Street, a shopping center along K. Tsetkin Street, houses along streets Kamal and Shchepkin. Projects of a residential complex with underground parking (streets Gladilov, Alafuzov, Slobodskaya), reconstruction of the administrative and office center along Ershov Street, and reconstruction of the hotel at K. Marks Street, №42a, will be submitted for consideration by the President of the RT.
