Ilsur Metshin met with the staff of the “Kazankompressormash”

Today Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, met with the staff of the plant “Kazancompressormash”, summed up the main results of the past year of 2017, and talked with factory workers. The head of the city told which yards and roads will be repaired in 2018, and accepted the challenge for a friendly football match.

Before to the meeting, the head of the city inspected the shop №8 where the final assembly of compressors is carried out. Ilnur Sagdiev, the managing director of the enterprise, told about the new color drying chamber, which is planned to be opened in March. A new camera will improve the quality of the painting. In addition, the Mayor was shown the block-modular compressor unit “Takat”. The plant's products are in demand in the oil and gas, chemical, and other industries.

Opening the meeting, Ilsur Metshin noted that the “Kazankompressormash”, an enterprise with almost 67 years of history, is the leader of the city and republican economy, the leading producer of compressor equipment for various industries in Russia and CIS countries.

“In different years, true professionals worked at the helm of your illustrious enterprise”, noted the Mayor. He remembered first director Pavel Gorin, at which the first compressor was created and the export of compressor equipment began, Tikhon Lomakin, in whose time the “Kazankompressormash” became a true compressor factory that fully produces high-performance compressor equipment, and was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor. Ahmed Galeev, under whose leadership the largest test station in Europe, dormitories, clinics, kindergartens, residential houses were built. In difficult times of perestroika, Ibrahim Khisameev was able to preserve the scientific, technical, and industrial potential of the enterprise. The head of the city also thanked the enterprise for the contribution to the republican and city programs and projects both in the field of planting and improving the city, and in programs for the elimination of dilapidated housing, social mortgages, and participation in charitable activities.

After that, Ilsur Metshin announced the main indicators that Kazan completed last year. In 2017, 958 thousand square meters of housing was built in the capital of Tatarstan, the city is first in this indicator among the capitals of the Volga regions. In addition, a lot of work was done to solve the problems of defrauded shareholders, 1360 apartments in 6 houses were delivered. Last year 239 apartment buildings were overhauled. Capital repairs of schools and social facilities are underway along with this.

Speaking about the repair of roads, the Mayor marked that 2017 became unprecedented in terms of the amount of work done, 175 streets were repaired. The total amount allocated for road works was more than 6 billion rubles.

After that, Ilsur Metshin answered the questions of the factory employees. The development of large housing estates in Kazan, including the “Salavat Cupere”, the question of attracting narrow medical specialists, the improvement of the transport scheme, and the capital repair program for 2018 were discussed at the meeting.

The Mayor of Kazan said that last year, 1 billion rubles was allocated for the repair of yard territories, 340 households and 46 driveways were repaired for this money.

The employee of “Kazankompressormash” raised the issue of repairing roads in the settlements, in particular, in Konstantinovka, where roads are not repaired everywhere. Ilsur Metshin noted that work in the settlement will continue this year.

In general, 21 roads in 13 villages of Kazan were repaired on an area of more than 40 thousand square meters. In total, 284 roads in 49 villages have been built since 2011.

In addition to issues of municipal economy, the employees of the enterprise are interested in sports. During the conversation with the head of the city, one of the factory workers said that the sports community was formed at the factory and competitions in football are held. He invited the City Hall team to play with their team in a friendly match. “The challenge is accepted, we will play!” answered Ilsur Metshin.

At the end of the meeting, the head of the city thanked the staff of “Kazankompressormash” for the work and marked that the enterprise has always been the foundation of the economy of the city, and the transformations became possible due to the work of the plant's employees.
