R. Minnikhanov awarded laureates of the republican contest “Leader of the Year-2017”

(KZN.RU, December 25). The awarding ceremony of the republican public competition “Leader of the Year-2017” laureates was held tonight at the GTRK “Korston”. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, Alexey Pesoshin, the prime minister of the RT, and others took part in the event. During the ceremony, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, was awarded a letter of gratitude of the Republican Fund “Vozrozhdenie”.

The President of the RT addressed the participants and guests of the ceremony with a welcoming speech. He briefly summarized the results of the outgoing year, outlined the main tasks for 2018, noted the contribution of the directorate of the republic to the tasks of social and economic development, and congratulated everyone on the coming New Year, wishing success in work, health, and family well-being.

According to Rustam Minnikhanov, thanks to the successes in the economy, the republic can now implement large-scale social projects, increase the volume of capital construction through budgetary and extra-budgetary funds, and carry out the road works. And this is the merit of labor collectives and their leaders. “We have large programs in the republic in the sphere of oil refining and petrochemistry”, he said. “In the near future, we will introduce a new oil refining complex for 6 million tons, we will launch 4 more units at the “TANEKO”. The works on the complex of deep oil refining at the “TAIF-NK” are being completed. The huge project will be realized on the “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” – “Ethylene-600”. Large projects in the energy sector are being implemented in the region as well. New models, new cabs, and new engines are being developed and manufactured by the PAO “KAMAZ”.

Rustam Minnikhanov presented a number of state awards of the RT: the Order “Duslyk”, the medal of the Order “For Merits to the RT”, the medal “For Valiant Labor”, and others.

The President of the RT also presented letters of gratitude from the Republican Fund for the Restoration of the Monuments of History and Culture of the RT. Thus, at the ceremony “Leader of the Year”, those leaders were noted who take an active part in the implementation of the project to revive the historical and cultural heritage of Tatarstan on the basis of charity. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Nail Maganov, the general director of the PAO “Tatneft” and the deputy of the State Council of the RT, Albert Shigabutdinov, the general director of the AO “TAIF”, and others were awarded with the letter of gratitude of the Republican Fund “Vozrozhdenie”.

The names of all philanthropists are immortalized in the memorable Book of philanthropists of the Republican Fund “Vozrozhdenie” as a token of great gratitude for their support and participation in the implementation of the project to revive the ancient Bulgarian and the island of Sviyazhsk, the construction of the Bulgarian Islamic Academy and the reconstruction of the Cathedral of the Our Lady of Kazan.

Then 25 laureates of the contest “Leader of the Year” were awarded. They were the leaders, who, together with their teams, provided a high level of performance indicators of the enterprises in charge. They were awarded diplomas and gold badges “Leader of the Year”, reports the Tatarstan Government Portal.
