December 25, Alsu Safina). The number of ambulances at the city emergency
station will be increased to 80 on public holidays. “Mass medical points will
be organized at mass festive events and priority calls will be provided by
ambulance teams at holiday sites”, said Ilnur Khalfiev, the head of the Health
Department of the Ministry of Health of the RT for Kazan, at today’s Business
Monday. He also announced the work schedule of medical and preventive
institutions of the city on New Year's holidays.
So, the
city's hospitals from 1 to 8 of January will work around the clock.
Hospitalization is carried out on a territorial basis depending on the disease
profile. Maternity homes will also work around the clock.
Adult
polyclinics will work from 9 am to 5 pm on the following schedule: on January
1, 2, 4, 5, 7, and 8 – on-duty therapeutic teams; on January 3, 6 – therapeutic
teams, specialists of a narrow profile, and diagnostic services in a
strengthened regime.
Women's
consultations will also work on 3 and 6 of January.
Children's
polyclinics on January 2, 4, and 6 work by the Saturday schedule (from 9 am to
5 pm), on January 8 – by Sunday schedule (from 9 am to 3 pm), on January 2 and
5 – in a strengthened mode. In addition, the radiology room and laboratory will
work.
“Parents
with children can independently seek outpatient care at the reception of
children's hospitals in the city with a 24-hour working day”, said the head of
the Health Department.
The
traumatological assistance to the population will be provided in two ways:
outpatient one – in round-the-clock trauma centers, stationary one – in
traumatological departments of hospitals.

facilities should be on standby” marked Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan.
