(KZN.RU, December 20, Alsu Safina). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor
of Kazan, visited the overhauled center for additional education of children
“Zarechie”. A year ago, the center was closed by the orders of the supervisory
authorities, and now life in the “Zarechie” is going on again. Children of the
Kirovsky district returned to the renovated center building on Okolnaya Street,
№23. The Mayor inspected the renovated classes, communicated with the children
and teachers.
The center “Zarechie” is located in the building of the 1963
year built. 81 million rubles was allocated for the overhaul of a three-story
building of the center with an area of 2.3 thousand square meters. All the
premises of the building have been completely renovated, 44 classes are
equipped for sections, including for technical creativity (ship and car
modeling), and also sports and concert halls. In addition, the adjacent
territory was landscaped, which has space for scouts and a stage for outdoor
performances. The center “Zarechie” received a license to conduct educational
activities on November 21 after the completion of an overhaul.
Ilsur Metshin drew attention to the big changes that took
place in the center.
First, the Mayor visited the water-motor sports section.
Tatiana Sorokina, the director of the center, said that many children enrolled
in the section after the opening. So the children, gathered in the class, have
a different level of knowledge.
Ruslan Amerkhanov, a teacher, told the Mayor that now, in
the winter, the boys are mastering the theory, and they usually practiced on
the Kaban Lake. But now there are difficulties with training, as the coastal
zones are closed. In this regard, the teacher expressed the wish that a
waterway appeared in the city.
The Mayor of Kazan agreed that it is necessary to solve the
issue with the training site. “We have definite plans. We visited teenage
clubs, there are the same sections and there were similar requests for access
to water. We have provided one option. We need to discuss together so that an
outlet for water could work for children who are engaged in ship modeling,
aqua-bikes, and boats”, said I. Metshin.
A carting class was located on the first floor of the
center, where the children learned to collect and disassemble the cards at the
time. Practical classes are held in the carting center “Forsage”. The Mayor of
Kazan talked with the children and then left a wish for luck on a helmet, which
will become one of the exhibits of the museum.
Noting the excellent conditions for training in the athletic
gym, the Mayor examined creative classes and studios. In particular, the
recording studio, classes of theater, vocals, and art.
In the assembly hall, the meeting of the council of
schoolchildren of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts was held, and Ilsur
Metshin congratulated all those who had gathered with the second birth of the
center “Zarechie”. “About 4 thousand children are engaged in this wonderful center,
which has great traditions, achievements, wonderful teachers and the director.
And the most important wealth is children”, said the Mayor. He wished everyone
a New Year mood, to dream and to reach their dream. “And to do it, you need to
study well, work hard, love and honor your parents and love your native city”,
he said.
The Mayor of Kazan also talked with the activists of the
Russian movement of schoolchildren from the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts,
who gather at the center “Zarechie”.
Parents of children who are engaged in the center, graduates
of “Zarechie” themselves, addressed the Mayor with words of gratitude.
“I thank all parents for your talented children”, replied
the Mayor. Ilsur Metshin marked that Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the
RT, did much to save the building and repair it. He told the parents that the
city is working hard to update the teenage clubs.
More than 3.8 thousand people study and about 160 teachers
work in the center “Zarechie”. The institution realizes more than 100
additional general education programs in six areas: physical culture and sports
(athletic gymnastics, karate, judo, table hockey, and chess), natural science
(cynology), tourist and local lore (guide school), sports and technical
(water-motor sports and carting), art (art-studio, theater, fashion theater,
choreography, oriental dances, and vocals), and social-pedagogical (KVN and
creative association). In total, 31 associations work in this building. All
classes are free.
Sergey Mironov, the head of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky
districts’ administration, Ilsur Hadiullin, the head of the Department of
Education, took part in the inspection of the renovated center.
