(KZN.RU,
December 3). Today, Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, inspected
objects under repair and restoration works in Kazan. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor
of Kazan, Irek Fayzullin, the minister of Construction, Architecture and
Housing, Airat Sibagatullin, the minister of Culture of the RT, Olesya
Baltusova, an assistant to the President of the RT, and others took part in the
inspected.
The first
object was the State Museum of Fine Arts of the RT (Manor of Sandetsky, early
20th century) on K. Marks Street, №64. The building is a part of the cultural
heritage of federal significance, repair and restoration works are carried out
there. The object includes exposition-exhibition areas, administrative and
economic part, and storage. The total area is 1800 square meters, reports the
press service of the President of the RT.
Rustam
Minnikhanov ordered to speed up the repair and restoration works. He noted that
financial resources have been allocated and all conditions for the work have
been created. According to the head of the RT, it is necessary to work out a
rigid schedule of work and adhere to it. The main objectives are to ensure the
safety of the facility, as well as preserve and ensure the availability of
existing cultural values and art objects. It is important to carry out repair
work in a qualitative way so that the building could remain in good condition
for many years. “This is the property of the republic”, he said.
The next
object was the Gallery of Contemporary Art of the Museum of Fine Arts (K. Marks
Street, №57). There are also works on overhaul, about 35 builders are working
at the facility. Rustam Minnikhanov was told about the need to provide the hall
with a modern multimedia exhibition and lighting equipment. Rosaliya
Nurgaleeva, the director of the museum, gave explanations during the
inspection. She noted that there is a demand for this hall from the organizers
of exhibitions, the main condition is a correct exhibition lighting and a
provision with modern technologies.
The third was the house “Dryablov House, the 18th century”
on Jalil Street, №19. It is an object of cultural heritage of national
importance. The decision to preserve the facility was taken in 2015. Later, it
was decided to carry out repairs there. The house of Mihlyaev – Dryablov went
down in history by the fact that, according to legend, Peter I stayed there
during his visit to Kazan. The object is planned to be adapted for the
children's educational center “Craft workshop”.
Further, Rustam Minnikhanov visited the building of the
former city magistrate, built in 1788 on Bauman Street, №3. It is an object of
cultural heritage of federal significance. The house was preserved in a highly
distorted form, the author of the complete reconstruction after the fire of
1815 is architect A. Schmidt. Prior to the fire, a magistrate's building was
built on this site, which was built in 1788 by the architect V. Kaftyrev. A.
Schmidt overhauled the building, increased the volume of the building and
changed its architectural design. Since 1844, there was located the Nikolayevsky
orphanage, under which the building was adapted after the fire of 1842. In the
Soviet period, it was occupied by the Department of Bakery Industry of the
TASSR.
Rustam Minnikhanov decided that the State Museum of Fine
Arts of the RT will take the balance of the building of the former city
magistrate on Bauman Street, №3. It will house the cultural and exhibition
center of the Russian Museum (St. Petersburg) with which the State Museum of
Fine Arts cooperates since 2008.
The last was the inner courtyard of the Kazan Theater of the
Young Spectator on Ostrovsky Street. Rustam Minnikhanov was presented with the
concept of territory development and its further use for theater events. A
children's center with a theatrical school for children and teenagers,
workshops, a media building, an outdoor playground, a training center, a
chamber hotel to accommodate guests during concerts and festivals could be
arranged there within the concept. Projects in Moscow and St. Petersburg were cited
as successful examples of such a reconstruction.
Aigul
Gornysheva, the director of the Kazan Theater of the Young Spectator, reminded
that the theater celebrated its 85th anniversary on December 1. Rustam
Minnikhanov instructed to work out a proposal to transfer a complex of
buildings to the balance of the Theater of Young Spectators, to create a
concept for the development of the courtyard area of the theater, the use of
adjacent buildings that are in a dilapidated condition.
