I. Metshin: “We did it together, 136 apartments were put into operation”

(KZN.RU, September 26, Alsu Safina). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, congratulated the shareholders of the fourth section on 136 apartments on Urmanche Street in the RC “Solnechny Gorod” with the long-awaited housing. Now the work on the pedestrian overpass is carrying out near the house. In November, residents of the neighborhood will be able to cross the road safely. It is planned to extend the tram tracks and organize a few more stops on the route №5 for the convenience of residents next summer.

GC “FON” began to build this residential complex but the construction was stopped. The municipality was involved in solving the problem.

“Together, we did it, 136 apartments were put into operation”, said the Mayor. “Now you will have an opportunity to live here a happy life”. “We try to implement what we promised and planned”, he added. The company “Dorstroy Packaging” of R. Ramazanov, the deputy of the Kazan City Duma, invested in the completion of the house. This became possible due to the Decree of the President of the RT UP-1004 of 11.14.2016, which allows giving land for housing construction without trades to investors participating in solving the problems of shared construction.

Shareholders thanked the Mayor of Kazan and Azat Nigmatzyanov, the first deputy head of the Executive Committee, for the help and support provided in solving the complex problem.

Azat Nigmatzyanov reminded that the President of Tatarstan set the task in the annual message to the State Council of the RT till the end of the year to deliver 6 objects of shareholders. “We can say that the first one is done. This is 136 apartments. We see the happy faces of shareholders. Soon they will be able to go to the cadastral chamber to register their housing”, said the first deputy head of the Executive Committee.

The Mayor of Kazan also informed shareholders that it is planned to complete the construction of a pedestrian overpass, which adjoins the stylobate, in November. The residents of the micro-district repeatedly addressed the city administration with this question. They noted that they had to cross the road through an unregulated pedestrian crossing, which is not safe. “The track is becoming lively because of the number of houses. The overpass is necessary for the safety of people, especially children who go to school and kindergarten”, marked I. Metshin.

The pedestrian crossing was laid back in 2008 while building the road along Urmanche Street. However, the facility and the road were not completed due to lack of funding. Funds for the completion of the pedestrian crossing were allocated by Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan.

Now work on the road infrastructure site continues. Andrey Kulikov, the director of the contractor organization, the construction company “Ascogroup”, said that concreting of metal structures is conducted. In addition, the work is underway in the facility for the installation of staircases, the cleaning of metals with a sandblasting machine. Once the metal junction structures have been cleaned, they will be cleaned, painted, and polycarbonate coated.

The facility will be equipped with two lifts. In general, according to A.Kulikov, the pedestrian overpass will be provided with everything necessary for the less mobile groups of the population.

The elevation of a pedestrian overpass to a meter was necessary to make it possible to continue the ring tram line. Before the meeting with the shareholders, Ilsur Metshin, together with Azat Nigmatzyanov and Aidar Abdulkhakov, the chairman of the Committee on Transport, discussed the development of the tramway ring line.

“We need to report this issue together with the Minister of Transport and Road Facilities to the President of the RT. Next summer, it is necessary to extend the tram line for 2-3 stops and make a turning ring”, said the Mayor. He asked A. Abdulkhakov how long it will take to design and carry out the work. “The projectors (“Tatdorproject” – ed.) are involved, the project will be ready by the next summer”, replied the chairman of the Committee on Transport.

The Mayor of Kazan told the shareholders about the plans to extend the tram lines. Thanks to this, residents of the micro-district will a closer stop. “Our further plans are to ring the “Solnechny Gorod” from Boriskovo, so that tram №5 goes round. We need serious investments to do this, and the resettlement of suburban areas, the construction of a junction at the final stop in Boriskovo”, said Ilsur Metshin.

Andrey Lobov, the head of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts’ administration, Marat Samigulin, the head of the Department for Capital Construction and Reconstruction, Diana Akhmetzyanova, director of the OOO “Fon-Riviera”, Sergey Orlov, the technical director of the GK “Fon”, representatives of contractors took part in the meeting.
