At the same time, it’s summarizing what we did together. The President drew attention to the continuation of all socially significant programs, which is very encouraging for us. The overhaul of yards, schools, and kindergartens, the renovation of public spaces will be continued along with the overhaul of the housing. It is important that there is a long-awaited overhaul of polyclinics among the programs”, said the Mayor.

According to Ilsur Metshin, the President's statement focuses not only on the qualitative improvement of the material and technical base of social institutions. The head of the republic also marked the respect for people. “The project “Friendly polyclinic” is being introduced, and it’s pleasing. Because the majority of the executives sitting in the hall remember our recent challenges well: dumping roofs, idle elevators, disabled bathrooms in schools and kindergartens, intermittent working kitchens in institutions, and so on. That is, we are not talking about what needs to be repaired now but about the need for a completely new level in working with the population. This is the main task for us. It is complex, requires the work of everyone and everything. A global, large-scale task, which was a red thread throughout the President's statement. This indicates the level that the republic has achieved”, the Mayor said.

According to the head of the city, serious tasks have been found in the sphere of housing and communal services today. “A recent sociological poll showed that 68% of the population of Russia, and in Kazan, too, are dissatisfied with housing and utilities, or, more precisely, with growing bills for housing and communal services. The President noted separately the issue of the quality of providing these services. This is also a task for careful analysis for us”, marked Ilsur Metshin.
