Today, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, thanked the citizens of the city for their work and invited them to celebrate the Day of the City and the Republic during the program “Theme” on the TV channel “Efir”. A diverse program of cultural, sporting, and entertainment events is planned in the city on August 30, where Kazan citizens are the most important guests, said the head of the city addressing the viewers.
“A lot of interesting will be in parks and squares. Four festivals, a motor show at the Millennium Square, a water show on the Kazanka River, jumps”, said I. Metshin. The full program of celebrating is on the portal KZN.RU.
He also added that the numbers and achievements voiced during the program are a result of a joint work. “I want to thank the residents. We have worked together well”, said the head of the city.
On the eve of the Knowledge Day, Ilsur Metshin wished success to the students, and prosperity to the city. “We must set new standards, reached for new goals, live in the most comfortable and beautiful city”, he said. The head of the city also congratulated the Muslims on the upcoming holiday of Kurban Bayram.
