(KZN.RU,
August 14, Mikhail Chentsov). The construction, reconstruction, and
modernization of a number of problem objects of the water supply and sanitation
system in Kazan within the framework of the investment program of the MUE
“Vodokanal” is estimated at 44 billion rubles. The program is designed until
2028 and approved by the Ministry of Construction and the State Committee for Tariffs
of the RT. It will allow modernizing city sewers, sewage and water pumping
stations, objects of Volga water intake, biological sewage treatment
facilities, and much more. Andrey Egorov, the director of theMUE “Vodokanal”,
reported this during a traditional staff meeting in the Kazan Executive
Committee.
Ilsur
Metshin, the Mayor of the Tatarstan’s capital, noted that the project of
updating the water supply system in Kazan is unique. “The complicated,
large-scale modernization project of the “Vodokanal” has no analogues. As far
as I know, no one water channel in the country has a ten-year modernization
program. At the same time, we managed to make an investment program in such a
way that its implementation will not affect the population's pocket”, marked
the Mayor.
For today,
the “Vodokanal” has started construction and design of a number of important
facilities within the framework of the investment program. So, it is planned to
test launch of a new sewage pumping station “Zarechnaya” in the 4th quarter of
2017. It is being built in exchange for the SPS “Verhnyaya”, which is worn out
by 100%.
According
to the director of the “Vodokanal”, the commissioning of the pumping station
will allow an additional 2500 cubic meters of drains per hour (more than 300
nine-storey double-entry houses). “The design capacity of the station after the
completion will be 20000 cubic meters per hour. And we have renewed the issue
of contracts for technological connection to sewerage networks in the northern
part of the city today”, noted A. Egorov.
“More than
a million square meters of investment programs for housing construction were
blocked for us due to the fact that we could not take the drains. In 2012, the
“Vodokanal” raised this problem, and we together with Rustam Minnikhanov, the
President of the RT, the Ministry of Construction and Housing, and the Ministry
of Ecology considered all these issues and found a solution”, commented the
Mayor of Kazan. He marked that further development of the northern part of the
city would be possible due to the launch of the SPS “Zarechnaya”.
A. Egorov
noted in his report that the inflow of groundwater into the area of the station’s main bowl construction and
auxiliary structures increased due to the difficult weather conditions in 2017
with a lot of precipitation. Thus, instead of the planned 2 wells of water
reduction, 6 wells were constructed, which delayed the construction of tunnels.
Now, an additional 6 wells of the dewatering system were built for the
construction of the underground part of the station. And 12 wells are already
working on the site. Now the changes in the technological schemes for the
production of works have been developed, which will make it possible to catch
up the schedule.
I. Metshin
instructed A. Egorov to clearly adhere to the construction schedule. “We saw
the object recently. 96% is in accordance with the schedule, and 4% of the gap
is a small fault but in general, I ask to adhere to the approved schedule for
delivery”, summed up the Mayor.
