July 3, Anton Nozdrin). Large-scale celebrations in honor of the all-Russian
Day of family, love, and loyalty in the Tatarstan’s capital will be held on
July 8 at the site of the Family Center “Kazan”. Farida Gilemkhanova, the
acting head of the Civil Registry Office, reported this today on the Business
Monday in the Kazan City Hall.
The city
festival will begin on July 8 at 4 pm on 10 sites. “A large area will be
allocated for active games. A bookshop will work for a quieter recreation,
where you can find useful literature for both children and adults”, said F.
Gilemkhanova. A playground with life-size puppets will be on the territory of
the Chasha, everyone can make aqua-grim, and a master class on make-up will be
held. The central point will be the chalice of family values, the pyramid,
which will be filled by the guests and participants.
The central
event of the holiday will be the traditional awarding of medals “For Love and Faithfulness”.
The Day of family, love and, loyalty was established in 2008, and the next
year, the first public award was given to the Aidarova family in Kazan. In
total, 541 awards were given in Tatarstan since 2009, 58 of which were given to
families from Kazan.
Farida
Gilemkhanova reported that this year, 12 family couples will be awarded medals
“For Love and Faithfulness” in Kazan. Veterans of the Great Patriotic War Farah
and Amina Khayrutdinovs will receive the award. The head of the family went through
the whole war from Khalkhin Gol to Berlin, has many government awards, and his
main pride is Swiss watches, presented personally by Marshal Georgy Zhukov.
Amina Khayrutdinova went through the war as a nurse in the military echelon.
This year veterans of the war celebrate the 70th anniversary of their joint
life.
The
families of Razil Valiev and Aliya Abdullina, who lived together for 50 years,
and Akhmat and Asia Sabirovs are among the awardees.
The holiday
will end with a large-scale flash mob and a concert program. Guests of the
holiday will see a colorful bicycle show, performance of various creative
groups, and work of a food court.
On July 8,
63 marriages will be registered in the Chasha, and in general, 116 couples will
bind the bonds of family life in the city.
Ilsur
Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, noted that the family is the basis of society.
“There is no more important value than family. And the main example for young
people is our strong family bonds”, marked I. Metshin. He also noted that in
the summer it is especially noticeable how many young families, mothers with
bassinettes, grandmothers with grandchildren who walk in parks, squares, and
yards in Kazan.
