I. Metshin: “We are holding Sabantuy for our citizens”

(KZN.RU, June 26). The main guests at the celebration of Sabantuy are residents of Kazan, and it is necessary to pay special attention to the fact that the citizens receive all information about the transport routes that will be on the holiday venue. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, announced this today at a traditional meeting in the Executive Committee. Azat Abzalov, the head of the Department of Culture, reported to him on the preparations for the Sabantuy in 2017.

The national holiday, timed to the end of sowing works, will be held in Kazan on Saturday, July 15. The main sites for the celebration are the Berezovaya Roscha near the residential complex Mirny and the international equestrian center “Kazan”.

Transport service for the population on the day of Sabantuy includes the providing of vehicles to bus-stops “39 quarter”, “10 micro-district”, metro station “Prospect Pobedy”, “Concert Hall of the Philharmonic”, “Orenburgsky Tract”, and “Glazunova Str.”. Buses will operate until the end of the festive events and the export of all guests of the holiday. The fare is paid according to the established tariffs for intra-urban passenger transportation.

From 6 am to 5 pm, a one-way movement will be organized along the road leading from Orenburgsky Tract to Maidan in the Berezovaya Roscha of the Privolzhsky district. A pedestrian movement will be organized along the Fermskoye Highway. The parking of vehicles will be limited on the street Fermskoye Highway, on the plot from Novo-Davlikeyevskaya Street to Gareev Street.

Ilsur Metshin instructed to bring this information to the citizens as much as possible. “I ask you to pay attention to ensuring that people know all the information about routes and schedules. We hold a holiday for our citizens and we need to do everything necessary for this”, marked the Mayor of Kazan.

The head of the city noted that, in addition to informing people, it is important to pay special attention to the security issues of residents and guests of the city on the Sabantuy national holiday.

A. Abzalov noted that all necessary services will be used to ensure security in the organization of the holiday: the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RF for Kazan, the Health Department of the Ministry of Health of the RT for Kazan, the fire service, the Rospotrebnadzor, and EMERCOM. “These services have developed dislocation points for guardroom and ones in charge. I am sure that in the remaining time, we will do our best for qualitative preparation and worthy holding of one of the most beloved and long-awaited holidays, and it will be held at the highest level”, said A. Abzalov.
