I. Metshin: “Deviation from the schedule of pressure test should be an exception”

(KZN.RU, June 19, Anton Nozdrin). Preparation for a new heating season is actively carried out in Kazan. Ilsur Metshin, Mayor of Kazan, marked that it is important to inform the residents timely about the works on the heating, to strictly respect the schedule of works, and in the case of delaying to explain the reasons of it to the population. “But the deviation from the schedule should be an exception”, said I. Metshin during the Business Monday.

Iskander Giniyatullin, the deputy head of the Executive Committee and the chairman of the Housing and Communal Services Committee, reported that because of the fall in temperature in early May, the heating was supplied to health facilities and preschool institutions, where there was a technical readiness. “The heating was restored in 287 social institutions”, reported the chairman of the Committee.

I. Metshin noted that in May, active work began on the pressure testing and overhaul of networks, and for these technical reasons it was impossible to reapply heat to residential buildings. The Mayor of Kazan instructed I. Giniyatullin and the heads of district administrations to take this into account in the future. “It is necessary to correct the works on the capital and current repairs and the preparation for the winter, based on the actual situation and the thermometer readings”, noted the Mayor of Kazan.

I. Giniyatullin also informed that 5685 apartment buildings and 802 social facilities are to be prepared for the new heating season. For today, 28% of houses have been used for pressing and washing. All works will be completed before September 1.

This year, the installation of individual hot-water heating stations in houses and institutions will be completed in Kazan. In total, the program includes 1115 apartment buildings and 165 budgetary institutions, 320 are already installed. According to I.Giniyatullin, the works are carried out without turning off the water and without creating any inconvenience to the residents.

I. Metshin appreciated the course of work. “The pace is high, 28% of readiness is a good indicator”, said the Mayor of Kazan. He noted that the ongoing overhaul can significantly reduce the number of accidents. At the same time, I. Metshin instructed the heat supplying enterprises and power engineers to carry out a detailed inspection of the networks and closely monitor their condition.
